Example #7 Ode to the Cabbage

Hera Bell must be the really dedicated type of photographer, willing to trudge around in cabbage fields at odd hours, as evidenced by this photo that she claims is hers:


And there is her copyright in the bottom right. But hold on there, not to be outdone, the Russians, who know a thing of two about cabbage, have also paid tribute to the lowly veggie:


And how strange that the Russians did not thank Hera Bell for trudging through the cabbage patch, because there is no copyright on this photo on the Russian site.

Not quite sure what is going on in the Hera Bell version. If you look at the top third of the photo, it almost appears as a crude darkening filter had been applied to the sky but then not feathered into the cabbage. The perspective of Hera Bell's version is odd too, see if you can spot the perspective differences between the two versions.

Well, as it turns out, it's the Poles who claim credit for the cabbage photo:
